How to Count Kicks:
• Start counting when baby is usually active (often after meals) • Count all movements: kicks, rolls, flutters, punches • Goal: Feel 10 movements within 2 hours • Most babies reach 10 kicks in under 30 minutes • Count at the same time each day • Call your doctor if: No movements felt, significant decrease in movement, or it takes longer than 2 hours to feel 10 movements
When to start: Begin kick counting around 28 weeks of pregnancy.
